Roger de Sa returned to Cape Town Spurs as their technical director, with immediate effect on Wednesday afternoon.

The erstwhile Wita University, Mamelodi Sundowns and Moroka Swallows goalkeeper’s return to the Urban Warriors was announced by the team.

“His role is to implement the club’s long-term strategic vision and build a sustainable, high-performance structure. De Sa brings extensive experience, including his recent role as assistant coach for the Egyptian and Iranian national teams under Carlos Queiroz, which exposed him to cutting-edge international trends,” a Spurs statement said.

The Mozambican-born former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper will also work closely with the first team coaching staff for immediate season preparations.
