With his next fight less than three weeks away, Phumelela ‘The Truth’ Cafu and his trainer Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan are going to leave for Las Vegas, United States of America (USA), on Saturday.

Cafu will continue with his preparations for his massive fight against American opponent Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, which is scheduled for the Ford Centre, Star Frisco in Dallas, Texas, USA on Saturday, 19 July (Sunday, 20 July, South African time).

The two gladiators are set to fight for the World Boxing Organisation (WBO), World Boxing Council (WBC) and Ring Magazine junior-bantamweight titles. Cafu is the WBO champion and Rodriguez holds the WBC title.

“Cafu and I will fly out to Las Vegas tomorrow night,” Nathan said on Friday afternoon.

The Duncan Village-born Cafu won the WBO title after he stunned Japanese boxer Kosei Tanaka in Japan in October last year.
