Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed on Sunday morning that they had released midfielder Lebohang Maboe after seven years at the club.
Maboe, who joined Sundowns from Maritzburg United, now called Durban City, left the Brazilians having won 12 trophies in 183 appearances.
Meanwhile, the Brazilians have also announced that Rivaldo Coetzee has been after eight years at the club.
After making more than 130 appearances for the Brazilians, Coetzee won 14 trophies with the Tshwane giants.
