Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk’s dominance over British boxers continued at the Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom, on Saturday evening.
The 38-year-old southpaw decked Daniel Dubois twice in the fifth round before the Briton was counted out. As a result of the win, Usyk successfully defended his World Boxing Council (WBC), International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Organisation (WBO) and International Boxing Organisation (IBO) heavweight titles.
Usyk is now 8-0 against British boxers having beaten Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua twice, Tyson Fury two times and Dubois twice.
Meanwhile, British boxer Lawrence Okolie dominated Kevin Lerena from South Africa before scoring a unanimous points decision victory in the main supporting bout.
