Mamelodi Sundowns moved to the top of the Betway Premiership standings after they defeated Stellenbosch FC 1-0 at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.

Namibian international Peter Shalulile netted the only goal of the match in referee’s added time in the first half.

The former Highlands Park forward became the Premier Soccer League’s all-time top goalscorer with 130 goals after he scored from the penalty spot following a foul on him by Stellies’ Henric Stanic.

Meanwhile, Magesi FC and AmaZulu drew 1-1 at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane with Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya scoring for Usuthu and John Manaka Mokone netting the equaliser for Dikwena tsa Meetse.
