Egyptian side Al Ahly fired their Spanish-born coach José Riveiro on Sunday afternoon following a 2-0 loss to Pyramidsbob Saturday.
Following the loss to Pyramids, the Red Devils slumped to 12th position on the log standings something which forced the club’s bosses to give the former Orlando Pirates coach the boot. The Red Devils have one win, two draws and a loss in the Egyptian League.
Overall, the 49-year-old Riveiro only won once, drew four times and lost two matches while in charge at the Cairo club.
