Kaine ‘K9′ Fourie will be hunting for success when he faces Argentine foe Claudio Daneff at The Galleria in Sandton, Johannesburg, in just less than two months’ time.

This 10 rounds bout between Fourie and the Argentine southpaw is an International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Intercontinental lightweight title contest, which is set for Saturday, 1 November.

Fourie is on a two-fight winning streak after he bounced back following a shock first round stoppage loss to Zambian boxer Simon Ngoma in March. He overcame Oumpie Sibeko last month and Sifiso Hlongwane in June.

Trained by Gert Strydom, Kaine has a professional record of 11 victories with nine knockouts, one defeat and two draws.

Meanwhile, Daneff, a 29-year-old former World Boxing Council (WBC) Latin Silver lightweight champion, beat Ariel Farias in his last fight in May this year.
