Jackie Brice of Jackie Brice Boxing Promotions (JBBP) is in a joyful mood after the Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs approved money, which he will use on next week’s tournament.
The JBBP show that is funded with R300 000 is scheduled for the Wynberg Military Base in Cape Town on Friday next week.
Wassim Chellan will face off against unbeaten Phaphama Rhonorhono from Mthatha in a vacant South African welterweight title contest.
On the other hand, Ntombokuqala Tolashe will defend her SA female featherweight title against Matshediso Mokatsane. This is a repeat of last August’s fight where Tolashe defeated Mokatsane for the same title at the Vibrant Sports Studio, Ottery, Cape Town.
