Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates dominate with eight players each in the 23-man Bafana Bafana squad, which was announced by coach Hugo Broos in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, on Thursday afternoon.

Bafana are going to play against Zimbabwe and Rwanda in their final two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Bafana face Zimbabwe at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Friday next week and then play against Rwanda at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Tuesday, 14 October.
