South African flyweight champion Nkosingiphile Sibisi stretched his unbeaten run to 11 wins after he defeated Chinese boxer Longyi Hu in Wembezi, Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday evening.

Nkosingiphile outpointed Hu to win the vacant IBF International flyweight title. As a result of the win, Nkosingiphile improved his record to 11 victories with two of those wins coming from stoppages while Hu dropped to nine victories, five stoppages, three losses and two draws.

On the other hand, Lindelani Sibisi overcame a game Keisham Luckysun Singh from India in the main supporting bout.

After 10 rounds, Sibisi, the reigning SA champion, won the fight on all scorecards to become the new IBF International featherweight titlist.
