Richards Bay FC advanced to the semi-finals of the Carling Knockout after they defeated their KwaZulu-Natal provincial neighbours Durban City 3-1 at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex on Saturday.
After the match ended 1-1 in regulation time through goals from Bokang Trevor Mokwena for City and Knox Mutizwa’s equaliser, the game went into extra time.
Mbulelo Nombengula and Lundi Mahala netted for the Natal Rich Boyz to ensure that they moved to the last four of the competition.
