Kaizer Chiefs overtook Orlando Pirates and moved to third place on the Betway Premiership standings after they beat Durban City 1-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday evening.
The match was heading for a draw until Flavio da Silva beat City goalkeeper Darren Keet following an assist from Gaston Sirino two minutes before full-time. This was Amakhosi’s first win since August.
