Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena is going to face the Tshwane giants for the first time since he was fired by the club two seasons ago.
Mokwena’s side MC Alger from Algeria have been drawn in Group C together with Sundowns, Sudanese side Al Hilal and St Eloi Lupopo from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs have been pitted against ZESCO United from Zambia as well as Egyptian sides Zamalek and Al Marry in Group C.
On the other hand, Cape Winelands side Stellenbosch FC are in Group D together with Algeria’s CR Belouizdad, AS Otohô from Congo and Tanzanians Singida Black Stars.
