Following his impressive performance against Malawian opponent Limbani Lano at the Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, in October last year, Jose Kadima has moved on and joined Golden Gloves.

The promotional outfit announced on Wednesday that Kadima from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) had added to the list of heavyweight boxers. Other heavyweight boxers in Golden Gloves’ books are Juan Alberts and Ethan Peters.

“Happy days are here again. He looks a bit special,” Golden Gloves managing director Rodney Berman remarked.

The unbeaten Kadima, who has a professional record of six wins with five stoppages, is based in Durban.

According to Golden Gloves, the plan is to get Kadima back to the Emperors Palace while Alberts is being lined up for a fight against German southpaw Senad Gashi.
