Durban City on Thursday announced yet another new recruit in Zimbabwe international Emmanuel Jalai following the signing of Ronaldo Maarman and Siphiwe Mahlangu from Sekhukhune United on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old fullback joined the KwaZulu-Natal side from Zimbabwean club Dynamos, where he was the captain. Jalai spent six years with Dynamos and made over 180 senior appearances for Zimbabwe’s biggest club.
He was part of the Zimbabwe Warriors’ squad at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco. He started in all of the Warriors’ three matches against Egypt, Angola and Bafana Bafana.
