Orlando Pirates moved to second position on the Betway Premiership table following a 2-0 win over Magesi FC at the Orlando Amstel Arena in Soweto on Saturday evening.
The Buccaneers, who are unbeaten in 11 matches, took the lead through Yanela Mbuthuma in the eighth minute following a pass from Relebohile Mofokeng. Mbuthuma turned provider as Mofokeng made it 2-0 four minutes before thehalf-time break.
Meanwhile, Orbit College came from two goals down and stole a point as they played to a 2-2 draw with Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Thabelo Tshikweta scored twice for Rise and Shine. However, Orbit College pushed very hard as they netted through Bradley Ralani and Atisang Batsi.
