Where Bafana Bafana will be based during the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, which is going to co-hosted by the United States of America (USA), Canada and Mexico, was confirmed by the South African Football Association (SAFA) on Thursday afternoon.
Coach Hugo Broos and his troops have chosen Pachuca in Mexico as their base. While based in Pachuca, Bafana are going to train at the Universidad del Futbol.
Bafana will stay at the Camino Real Pachuca hotel, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens and forests for a peaceful, high-altitude recovery vibe just five kilometres from Pachuca.
