Banyana Banyana are going to play against Namibia’s Brave Gladiators in the final of the 2026 COSAFA Women’s Championship at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday afternoon.
This comes after Banyana reached the final when they defeated their Zimbabwean counterparts 4-2 on penalties. The match went into penalties after the two sides had drawn 1-1 in regulation time with goals from Ethel Chinyerere for Zimbabwe and Banyana’s Nthabiseng Majiya.
Meanwhile, the Namibian Brave Gladiators beat Zambia 1-0 through Juliana Blou’s goal in the first semi-final encounter.
