Stellenbosch FC have moved up to ninth place in the Betway Premiership standings after they defeated AmaZulu 1-0 at the Danie Craven Stadium on Friday evening.
The Cape Winelands side bagged the three valuable points courtesy of a 32nd minute goal scored by Ibraheem Olalekan Jabaar.
Elsewhere, Polokwane City made life difficult for Magesi FC as they beat them 2-0 with goals from Mokibelo Simon Ramabu and Thabang Tholo Matuludi at the Seshego Stadium.
