Orlando Pirates were at their ruthless best as they whipped and embarrassed their arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 in a Betway Premiership match played at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday.
Things started to go well for the Buccaneers as early as the fifth minute when Tshepang Moremi’s attempt at goal took a deflection and the ball kissed the back of the net in the fifth minute.
Pirates were not done yet as Oswin Appollis netted their second goal when he beat Amakhosi goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma in the 28th minute. And a 78th minute goal from Evidence Makgopa put things beyond Amakhosi’s reach.
