Mamelodi Sundowns have one foot in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League following a 3-0 drubbing of Stade Malien from Mali at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Friday evening.
The Tshwane giants shot to the lead with defender Khuliso Mudau’s goal in the 34th minute from an Arthur Sales’ assist.
Sundowns increased their lead with Colombian Brayan Léon Muñiz’s goal from a Nuno Santos assist in the 54th minute. Iqraam Rayners made it 3-0 with a volley in the 74th minute from yet another Santos assist.
