Mamelodi Sundowns are back on top of the Betway Premiership table after they whipped Marumo Gallants 3-1 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Tuesday evening
The Brazilians took the lead in the 31st minute courtesy of a Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya own goal after a Marcelo Allende set-piece.
Gallants were then awarded a penalty after Nuno Santos had handled the ball inside the box and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo equalised from the spot kick five minutes before the half-time break.
Second half substitute Teboho Mokoena restored the Tshwane giants’ lead in the 62nd minute following an assist from Arthur Sales. And Mokoena completed his brace in referee’s added time to make it 3-1.
