Bafana Bafana and Panama played to a 1-1 draw in an international friendly match held at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Friday evening.
The Central Americans broke the deadlock with Yoel Bárcenas’ goal after Bafana defender Khuliso Mudau’s blunder in the 23rd minute.
Bafana started the second half with more purpose and it was no wonder that in only three minutes into the last 45 minutes, Oswin Appollis equalised following a pass from Mudau.
The two sides are now set to square up again when they clash at the Cape Town Stadium in the Mother City on Tuesday next week.
