Fighting for the second time in one month, Nobengazi Booth silenced the Scenery Park Hall in KuGompo City as she stopped Nomazithini Ndyambo from Phumlani in the Buffalo City Metro on Sunday afternoon.

After her blows landed at will, Booth from Mooi River in Kwa-Zulu-Natal, forced Ndyambo’s corner to throw in the towel in the fourth round and in the process won the vacant South African female junior-middleweight crown. 

And Asandiswa Nxokwana captured the vacant Eastern Cape female junior-featherweight title following a majority points decision victory over Kirkwood’s Monalisa Takane in the main supporting bout.

Meanwhile, Nolwazi Myingwa defeated Ayanda Ndonyela by a fourth round technical knockout in an a super-middleweight bout, which featured KwaZulu-Natal boxers with Mandeni-born Misiwe Ndlovu defeating Nolwazi Mabaso from Mpumalanga township via a split decision and Duncan Village’s Vuyisani Goci won by a unanimous points decision over Ibanathi Manana from Phumlani.
