Eastern Cape boxer Zolisa Batyi has secured a fight just less than two months after he successfully defended his South African featherweight title.
Batyi, who drew with Capetonian Abdul-Azziz Kunert in Cape Town last month, has a date with Tanzanian opponent Nasibu Ramadhani Shemtendwa in Tanzania next month.
Nxarhuni-born Batyi is scheduled to square up against the experienced Tanzanian on Saturday, 21 October.
“I’m going to fight in Tanzania next month. I will be fighting against Nasibu Ramadhani,” Batyi confirmed.
The Tanzanian is an experienced campaigner having won 34 times with 20 knockouts, 18 losses and two draws compared to Batyi’s record of seven victories (five knockouts), two defeats and a draw.
