Cape Town City confirmed on Friday morning that they had signed midfielder Fortune Makaringe on a free transfer.
Makaringe, who was dumped by Orlando Pirates earlier this month, signed a three-year contract with the Citizens.
“Cape Town City is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder, Fortune Makaringe,” a statement from the Citizens said.
The 31-year-old Makaringe had been with the Buccaneers since joining them from KwaZulu-Natal Midlands side Maritzburg United.
