Black Leopards beat Orlando Pirates 2-0 in a DStv Premiership match at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
An own goal by Pirates defender Innocent Maela in the 29th minute and Roderick Kabwe’s goal 11 minutes later were enough to give Lidoda Duvha the three points.
Lidoda Duvha’s win ensured that Pirates left Thohoyandou with only three points after they beat Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 3-0 last Wednesday.
Leopards have now moved to 14th spot from 16th on the Premiership standings.
This was Lidoda Duvha’s first league win over the Buccaneers since 2003.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu and Maritzburg United played to a goalless draw in a KwaZulu-Natal derby at the King’s Park Stadium in Durban.
