Mamelodi Sundowns’ Mosa Lebusa and Kermit Erasmus remember the late Motjeka Madisha as a fun guy.
Lebusa and Erasmus were speaking after a memorial service, which was held at Madisha’s home in Ga-Madisha Leolo in Zebediela on Thursday.
The former Sundowns and Bafana Bafana defender passed away after a crash, which resulted in his car hitting a pole and catching fire in Chloorkop on 12 December.
“I can’t say much except that I can imagine what they are going through. We lost a good player, a brother, a friend and it’s not easy for us. Hopefully, we will get over this. He will forever be in our hearts. I will remember him as someone, who was never sad. As playful as he was, he would give you 120 percent during a match,” Lebusa said.
Erasmus, who joined the Brazilians from Cape Town City before the beginning of the season, said that he enjoyed Madisha’s company during the short time they were teammates.
“He was very humble, always smiling and always joking. He was a very fun person. The short time I spent with him as a teammate was quite interesting. To the family we wanna give our support and let them know that they are not alone. We feel the pain they feel. We just hope that things will get better with time,” Erasmus said.
Madisha is going to be buried in Ga-Madisha Leolo in Zebediela this Saturday.
