SuperSport United returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Cape Town City in a DStv Premiership match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday evening.
Gamphani Lungu and Thamsanqa Gabuza scored for Matsatsantsa a Pitori with the Citizens’ goal coming from Bradley Ralani.
Lungu gave Matsatsantsa a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute. Matsatsantsa led by Lungu’s goal at interval.
The Citizens equalised through Ralani two minutes from the half time break.
Gabuza ensured that Matsatsantsa pocketed maximum points when he scored in the 80th minute.
Matsatsantsa went into this match on the back of a 2-1 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic on Tuesday while the Citizens lost 2-0 to Orlando Pirates on the same day.
