Stellenbosch FC fought very hard to hold Kaizer Chiefs to a 2-2 draw in a DStv Premiership match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec on Tuesday evening.
Stellies forced Amakhosi to play catch up as they led twice during the match. Leonardo Castro and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo netted for Chiefs with Nathan Sinkala and Phathutshedzo Nange finding the back of the net for Stellies.
The draw had positive results for Stellies as they moved two places from 12th to 10th on the Premiership table while Amakhosi remained in ninth spot.
