Baroka FC and Kaizer Chiefs shared a point each after they played to a 1-1 draw in a DStv Premiership fixture at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Thursday afternoon.
No goals were scored in the first half as both sides missed a number of chances. However, things changed in the second stanza with Amakhosi finding the back of the net through Lebo Manyama in the 58th minute. Manyama received a back heel pass from Khama Billiat and rounded Baroka goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke before slotting the ball into an empty net.
Baroka pressed hard after conceding the goal and were rewarded with a goal by Evidence Makgopa in the 81st minute.
Baroka moved one place from 12th to 11th on the Premiership table while Chiefs are stuck in ninth place.
