South African national Under-23 coach David Notane is happy with the Tokyo Olympics draw.
Notoane’s boys have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Japan, Mexico and France in a draw conducted on Wednesday.
“We now know the identity of our opponents, finally. Tough draw, but I think it’s a good draw if I look at the other groups. I think it’s a group in which with good preparation, with good application we can get out of and go to the knockout stage. One is very, very happy with his the draw came up,” Notoane said.
The former Santos and SuperSport United forward has named a 40-man squad to prepare for the Olympics.
