Three-time world champion Moruti ‘Babyface’ Mthalane is back home after losing his International Boxing Federation (IBF) flyweight belt to British boxer Sunny Edwards in London last Friday.
And Mthalane, who turns 39 in October, has not decided what his next move would be.
“At the moment I will rest and think if I still want to box or not. I haven’t made a decision yet, but in few weeks I will know,” Mthalane said.
The loss to Edwards was Lindelani-born Mthalane’s first in almost 13 years. Before meeting Edwards, Mthalane last lost when he was stopped by Filipino boxer Nonito Donaire Junior when they fought for the IBF and International Boxing Organisation (IBO) flyweight belts in November 2008.
