Alice-born Sharks scrumhalf Sanele Nohamba has made it to the Springboks squad ahead of clashes against Georgia as well as the British and Irish Lions matches.
The 22-year-old Nohamba from Mavuso location in Alice, Eastern Cape, is one of the uncapped players in the 46-man Boks squad announced on Saturday evening.
Nohamba’s teammates at the Sharks, fullback Aphelele Fassi and wing Yaw Penxe have also made it into the Books squad. Other newcomers are Leicester City loose forward Jasper Wiese, Cheetahs wing Rosco Specman, Lions centre Wandisile Simelane, Montpellier lock Nico Janse van Rensburg and Bordeaux-Begles booker Joseph Dweba.
