All Boxing South Africa (BSA) employees are going to work from home effective from Monday, 28 June.
This was confirmed by BSA after State President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Sunday evening that South Africa will move to adjusted alert level 4 from Monday because of the rising numbers of COVID-19 infections, especially in Gauteng.
“Clarity on what this means for sport will be shared once more information is received. All BSA employees will continue to work from home and will therefore be available via e-mail,” read a statement on the BSA Facebook page.
Licensees have been advised to contact their provincial managers should they have queries or require assistance. The latest developments might have a negative effect on tournaments scheduled for the next two weekends.
