Morena Ramoreboli reckons that their plan worked very well when Bafana Bafana gave Lesotho a 4-0 hiding in a COSAFA Cup encounter at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Tuesday afternoon.
Bloemfontein Celtic’s Victor Letsoalo scored a hattrick with the other goal coming from Siphelele Mkhulise of Mamelodi Sundowns.
“We had a plan. I think the plan went well because our boys managed to express themselves correctly within the game plan,” Ramoreboli, who is in charge of Bafana, remarked.
“That’s how we managed to get the goals. Another thing that worked for us was getting an opportunity to analyse Lesotho and be able to pick on their weaknesses so that we could plan properly for the match.”
Bafana have now won all their three group stage matches having beaten Botswana (1-0) and eSwatini (1-0) as well. They face Zambia’s Chipolopolo in their final group stage match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium at 15h00 on Wednesday.
“This is a result of team work. Each an every individual knows his role. We are trying our level best,” Ramoreboli said after the Likuena match.
