The Gauteng Boxing Promoters Association (GBPA) is showing the way once again.
The GBPA has finalised a bill for a 26 September tournament scheduled for the Booysens Boxing Gym in Johannesburg. This tournament comes on the back of a successful one, which was headlined by a South African female bantamweight title fight between Melissa Miller and Sharadene Fortuin last Sunday.
Seymour-born Fortuin dethroned Eldorado Park-based Miller via a points decision.
The GBPA’s upcoming tournament is going to be spear-headed by an SA junior-middleweight clash between Prince Dlomo and Siseko Makeleni.
Dlomo will be making the first defence of the SA title he won when he outpointed then champion Xolani Mcotheli in March.
On the other hand, Mcotheli clashes against Gift Bolo while Sibusiso Zingange faces Anthony Maloisane.
