Kaizer Chiefs’ horrible start to the season continued as they were clobbered 4-1 by Royal AM in a DStv Premiership match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday evening.
Victor Letsoalo scored in each half while Chiefs defender Sibusiso Mabiliso netted an own goal before Mfundo Thikazi added the fourth strike for the KwaZulu-Natal side. Sifiso Hlanti scored Amakhosi’s solitary goal.
This was Royal AM’s second win in a row having beaten Chippa United in Chatsworth last Sunday while Chiefs were thumped 2-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria on the same day.
