Mamelodi Sundowns cruised to a 3-0 win over TS Galaxy in a DStv Premiership encounter at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday evening.
The win came courtesy of second half goals by Mosa Lebusa, Peter Shalulile and Thabiso Kutumela.
The Brazilians attacked from the first whistle and Themba Zwane shot wide following a good move by Gaston Sirino in the eighth minute.
The Rockets thought they had scored through Igor Makitan only for match referee Thokozani Mkhize to rule it as a foul on Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango.
The first goal of the match was scored by Lebusa in the 57th minute. Lebusa pounced after Rockets goalkeeper Vasilije Kolak had spilled Lyle Lakay’s free kick.
The Tshwane giants only took a minute before increasing their lead through Shalulile.
Second half substitute Kutumela netted the Brazilians’ third goal in the 84th minute.
