Zintle Mpupha has fulfilled her dream of playing professional rugby overseas after she signed a one-year contract with Exeter Chiefs in England.
The 27-year-old Mpupha from Middledrift in the Eastern Cape is a former South African Under-19 cricketer and she’s happy to have joined the English side from Western Province Ladies.
“An opportunity to play overseas has always been one of my dreams. I will be tested in different conditions, one of them being the weather, but that’s one of the things I can’t control,” Mpupha remarked.
Mpupha, who has played seven times for the Springboks Women’s team, is a former Border Ladies centre.
