The chief financial officer of Boxing South Africa (BSA) Thabang Moses has dismissed rumours of his departure from the unstable regulatory body.
Moses was reacting to weekend rumours where it was said that he had jumped ship like Cindy Nkomo, who has resigned both as acting BSA chief executive officer and director of operations.
“No, I’m still with BSA. I have not resigned. It’s the acting CEO who has resigned,” Moses said.
Meanwhile, the BSA board led by its chairperson Luthando Jack was still locked in meetings on Sunday evening discussing Nkomo’s resignation.
Sources claim Nkomo wrote an explosive resignation letter before quitting the beleaguered organisation.
