Teboho Mokoena fully understands that Bafana Bafana’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia at the Bahir Dar International Stadium on Saturday is not going to be an easy game.
Bafana Bafana arrived in Bahir Dar on Friday ahead of Saturday’s crucial match.
“We are happy to be here. Obviously, we prepared well as a team. I think we are ready for the game. We know that it won’t be an easy game, but we prepared well and we will hopefully win, that’s what we are here for,” the Bafana Bafana midfielder said.
Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has also declared their readiness for the match.
“We are ready for the game. We would like to win the game. We know we are playing against a very good team,” Broos said.
“They have qualified for the AFCON. I think that means something, so we know they are good. We will have to play a very good game and we hope that we can win it.”
Bafana Bafana and the Ethiopians are going to meet again in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
