Ashley du Preez scored for Stellies with a great shot in the 38th minute. Du Preez turned Daniel Cardoso before unleashing a shot past Chiefs goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi.
The goal didn’t dampen Amakhosi’s spirits as they attacked, but always found Stellies’ defence equal to the task.
