Off-the-ring friendship will be thrown out the window when world champion Ayanda Ndulani defends his crown against his friend Siphamandla Baleni on Saturday evening.
Ndulani will be defending his International Boxing Organisation (IBO) minimumweight title when he clashes with Baleni at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC).
This is Ndulani’s first defence of the title he won when he floored veteran Nkosinathi Joyi in the fourth round at the same East London venue in May. Actually, the title was already vacant when the fight took place. This was after Joyi had lost the belt on the scales.
