Orlando Pirates have advanced to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup after Liberian side LPRC Oilers withdrew from the competition.
The Buccaneers were set to host the Liberians in the second leg at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Sunday.
“Kindly note that we have been informed of the withdrawal of LPRC Oilers from the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup,” a statement from Pirates said.
Pirates beat the Liberians 2-0 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia last weekend.
