The Proteas will on Thursday morning continue their chase to win the second Test match against India at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.
At stumps on Wednesday, the Proteas were 118 for two in 40 overs with Dean Elgar on 46 after facing 121 balls while Rassie van der Dussen was on 11 from 37 deliveries in their second innings.
Meanwhile, India were bowled out for 266 in 60.1 overs after having scored 202 runs in the first innings.
