Major League Soccer (MLS) side Minnesota United have confirmed the signing of Bongokuhle Hlongwane from Maritzburg United.
Minnesota announced late on Wednesday that they had acquired Hlongwane’s services on a three-year deal.
The 21-year-old Hlongwane has played in six matches for Bafana Bafana and scored two goals.
Meanwhile, Hlongwane’s signing by Minnesota follows hours after MLS side St Louis City announced former Kaizer Chiefs and Wits University defender Bradley Carnell as their new coach.
