Chippa United earned a valuable point after they held Orlando Pirates to a goalless draw in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Wednesday evening.
The Buccaneers dominated during the match, but failed to find the back of the match as Chilli Boys goalkeeper and captain Loydt Kazapua was equal to the task.
With some assistance from Sandile Mthethwa, Kazapua denied Terrence Dzvukamanja in the fifth minute.
Pirates continued with their attack and their skipper Ntsikelelo Nyauza’s header sailed over the crossbar inn the 29dh minute.
After defending for the majority part of the match, the Chilli Boys started attacking in the last 10 minutes of the game. Bienvenu Eva Nga’s powerful header while sandwiched by three Pirates defenders hit the crossbar in the 83rd minute.
