Rumble Africa Promotions (RAP) is cooking up what could be said is a blockbuster tournament, which will feature the cream of the promotional outfit’s boxers and also sees the return of former world title contender Azinga ‘Golden Boy’ Fuzile to action.
The tournament, which will have the likes of Fuzile, Ayabonga Sonjica, Lerato Dlamini, Yanga Sigqibo, Lusizo Manzana, Luvuyo Sizani, Luyanda Ntwanambe, Lwando Mgabi and Athenkosi Tongwana, is scheduled to take place on 18 June.
Former South African featherweight titlist Fuzile will be fighting for the first time since his loss to International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-lightweight champion Kenichi Ogawa from Japan in November last year.
The 25-year-old boxer from Duncan Village will also be fighting for the first time in the lightweight after moving up a division in January.
Meanwhile, South African junior-featherweight champion Sonjica, Dlamini and Sigqibo are going to be involved in IBF clashes while Manzana will fight in an African Boxing Union (ABU) title contest.
