Thulani ‘Evolution’ Mbenge stopped Tanzanian boxer Iddi Pialara at The Galleria in Johannesburg on Thursday evening.
The two-time South African welterweight champion dominated and registered a second round stoppage of Pialara.
The former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) welterweight champion was all over the Tanzanian hitting him at will.
Before facing Pialara, Mbenge last fought when he stopped Jabulani Makhense in the third round in June last year.
Meanwhile, Emmany Kalombo defeated Kenyan Rayton Okwiri by an eighth round technical knockout in a vacant IBF International junior-middleweight title fight.
